“MORE SALONS ARE TAKING THE EXTRA STEPS TO BE HEALTHY…ONE OF THE PLACES YOU’LL SEE THAT FOR SURE IS A LA MODE. This is a nail specific salon, a nail spa. They’ve just opened another location in Wayzata, so now you’ve got two options for kind of that middle space between the quickie nail salons and the full spa, where you’re paying like $40 for a pedicure. [It’s] a pretty competitive, pretty good price, especially for a really extensive treatment that includes the leg massage, includes scrubs. And they are chemical-free, which a lot of people are really enjoying. Another thing to note about A la Mode is that it’s a full boutique, too. So if you’re waiting for your appointment, they have all sorts of goodies that you shop from soaps and bath and body products to purses and pajamas and all sorts of great stuff. It’s much easier to get in to the Wayzata location right now, and it’s really great, especially this time of year: boat season, steps away from the docks on Lake Minnetonka.” -Style Editor Alison Kaplan, on Fox9 The Buzz .

“WE DARE YOU TO FIND ANYONE ELSE who will rub your dry, callused feet for 10 minutes straight. Pedicures are so underrated in the winter—probably because no one is going to see your feet but the inside of your UGGs.
